Backcountry Pyrenees Mountain Bike Holiday: Zona Zero
Unser “Backcountry” Pyrenees mountain bike holiday takes a tour of the pre-Pyrenees, on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees mountains, offering spectacular mountain biking. The big Pyrenees mountains stand majestically as a backdrop to the twisty, flowy trails we ride. On this day of our Backcountry Pyrenees holiday we offer shuttling in the area of these mountains which the locals call “Zona Zero”, descending between 500m and 800m to the villages below where we have a coffee and load the vans for another descent.
The following day we will load our mountain bikes up into a 4×4 for a massive uplift way into the mountains you see in the background, which aren’t covered with snow when we run our holidays, and spend the rest of the day riding back down. That is just two of the days on our Backcountry Pyrenees holiday, and the rest of the riding is just as spectacular!
